My name is Hien D Tran, I am 23 years old and currently going to school in Chicago majoring in Finance. I never thought I’d start to enjoy modelling as much as I am, and only being exposed to it for a short period of time. I found love in the ability to express my moods and emotions through various art forms and modelling just became a great catalyst to do so.
I love the personal aesthetics in a series of photos and videos
I love how certain personal aesthetics can be articulated through one’s fashion, cosmetics, physical appearance in a series of photos and videos.
Growing up in a world of attachment to social media it is common amongst my generation specifically to cater to one’s image. I find enjoyment in finding the avenues of media that best fit how I want to express myself to the world and be seen.
Comfortable expressing myself
I feel it is difficult to do so given peer pressure to express yourself freely without fear of judgement, and given that I have a complicated personality I look to modelling to facilitate. I am personally inspired by the faith I have in fabricating the best version of myself I can be, trusting my confidence and youthful ambition will give me the ability to do so consistently. Having a very eclectic personality I am naturally drawn to different methods of self expression, and I hope to find my niche and grow my self love through as many things as I can; always keep trying to be the best version of yourself you can be.
For the long term I hope to find a financially stable career path with a lot of room for growth and diverse enough to apply multiple skills towards. Residual income has caught my eye and I have taken great interest in the emerging Asian markets as well as the American real estate market, the vast opportunities it actually consists of to invest and venture in is incredible.
Struggle with the pressure of appearance
I honestly hope to use modelling as a stepping stone to grow a social media presence and reach a variety of audiences that would enjoy my multi-functioning personality as a way of expressing how my mind works and views of beauty. I still struggle with the pressure of appearance, but I will continue to learn as much as I can about myself and my affect on people for as long as I can.
Perspective on Beauty
I believe beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I hope to show various audiences as best I can my life and how I perceive that centuries old, very controversial topic; what is beauty? I would start by telling audiences you should love yourself and try to start to find what fulfills your soul. Nothing lasts forever, and I would rather live without any regrets or second guessing; so should you! How will you know you would be good at something if you never would try it? Go through things with genuine thoughts and confidence and you will learn and grow—Inspire.
