Merlyn Mantilla’s love for learning and ambition to excel have been the driving forces behind her remarkable achievements. With a background in finance, business and administration, complemented by a postgraduate degree in fashion and executive MBA in retail management, she has cultivated a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise. These academic pursuits have paved the way for her career as a successful entrepreneur and a leader in the fashion industry.
Modeling and Pageantry
Merlyn’s journey into the world of modeling began several years ago, and her hard work and dedication quickly paid off. As a published model, her image graced a billboard in the iconic Times Square in New York City, marking a significant milestone in her modeling career.
In January 2023, she competed for and won the prestigious title of Ms. Miami, US Nation 2023, which propelled her to participate in Ms. Florida 2023 US Nation, where she once again emerged victorious. Adding to her achievements, Merlyn recently received the thrilling news of her victory in the preliminary casting of Miss Swimsuit Beauty US Nation, earning her the crown and the honor of being officially crowned on July 15th, 2023.
Fashion Editorial and Event Management
Merlyn’s passion for fashion extends beyond the runway, as she has been selected as the Fashion Editor for ART E$TATE. Her eye for style, combined with her experience and expertise, has earned her the nomination to serve as the director of the entire Florida pageant events organized by Miss US Nation Pageants. She is excited. “Definitely, it has been a year full of important achievements. I am very happy to see how my preparation, hard work, experience and determination have brought me here.”
Fitness and Bodybuilding
A testament to her dedication and love for fitness, Merlyn Mantilla is a fitness enthusiast. “I love to exercise. I have been working out everyday for over 20 years,” she shares about her lifestyle. In pursuit of her passion, she became a certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor, and Nutritionist, enhancing her understanding of physical health and well-being.
“After many years of working out, and after all the knowledge acquired, I jumped into bodybuilding competitions,” Merlyn proudly announced. She participated in the Pure Elite in the UK, and achieved remarkable success, securing third place in the Diva Category and fifth place in the bikini category. Inspired by her initial triumph, she then competed in the WFBB show in Miami just one week later, where she once again made her mark, securing fifth place in the Diva Category.
Future Aspirations and Empowerment for Merlyn Mantilla
Recognizing the tremendous opportunities in Miami, Merlyn has recently decided to relocate there, leaving behind her life in London, UK, and embracing the new possibilities that awaited her.
Merlyn Mantilla’s journey is far from over. As a lover of fashion, she aspires to participate in Miss US, US Nation, and various international pageants, thus further establishing herself as a role model and inspiration to others.
